A mix of 2/3 ATBC and 1/3 DOTP plasticizer- item only. This listing is not for a service.
This mix is for people who use their inflatables outdoors, in the sun, rain, etc. DOTP is currently the industry standard being used during manufacturing of PVC. By itself it does not easily absorb into PVC. During manufacturing, it is added to the molten material. Attempting to heat PVC to a high temperature to add DOTP typically results in uneven distribution. Instead, ATBC, which easily absorbs into PVC opens the door to pull the DOTP into the material using a lower temperature (typically 130 degree F) hot water approach.
ATBC alone works well indoors in a controlled temperature environment and with any skin oils removed quickly after use by using a dish soap such as Dawn. Clean like you are doing dishes. Do not soak in dish soap for long periods because it can pull the plasticizer out of the material. Do not use alcohol to clean as it will pull the plasticizer out. But for outdoor use in the sun, rain, etc, the ATBC can migrate to the surface and be washed off and also evaporate. So for this use case, a ATBC+DOTP is recommended as the DOTP is more resilient to outdoor use.

You can order just the plasticizer or you can also order it along with a 60mL syringe with long attached tube for injecting into the inside of an inflatable through the valve.
